Located in the middle of the 19th century, during the colonial era of Dutch India, the series “Grisse” follows a group of unusual characters who launch a rebellion against a brutal governor and finally have a chance to decide their fate.
Grisse is an action-packed television series produced by HBO Asia. We recorded ADR with actors Toshiji Takeshima (Ryuichi) and Adinia Wirasti (Kalia) in the studio, the post house in Singapore, and director Tony Tilse joining us from Sydney, Australia via Skype. We love when we’re able to use technology to collaborate with people across the globe on cool projects like this one.

Arcay studios got to provide the color-grading and post production audio on Kelly Stoker’s new short film, “H”. It’s about a kind-hearted homeless man named H who is befriended by a desperate waitress looking for a way out of her abusive relationship.
H is a micro-budget independent film shot entirely in the Santa Clarita Valley. It address important social issues like wealth inequality, homelessness, substance abuse, and domestic violence. Watch the film in it’s entirety below.
Coming off of his academy award-winning short film NANI, filmmaker Justin Tipping produced and directed his first feature film, “Kicks,” which starred Jahking Guillory, Christopher Jordan Wallace, Christopher Meyer, Kofi Siriboe, Mahershala Ali and Molly Shaiken.
In the film, fifteen-year-old Brandon longs for a pair of the freshest sneakers that money can buy, assuming that merely having them on his feet will help him escape the reality of being poor, neglected by the opposite sex and picked on by everyone – even his best friends. Working hard to get them, he soon finds that the titular shoes have instead made him a target after they are promptly snatched by Flaco, a local hood. Brandon goes on a mission to retrieve his stolen sneakers.
Arcay Studios was proud to provide all of the post audio services including dialog editing, ADR, foley, sound design, and mixing.
The students at The Masters University have done it again! They give themselves a new challenge each year and this time they decided to produce a musical inspired by La La Land. The team shot their new short film, “The Lunch Rush” at Cadillac Jack’s (near The Pink Motel) in Sun Valley. It will contain a full orchestral score recorded at Capitol Records in Hollywood. Arcay Studios is proud to have provided audio post production services to this amazingly unique student film.
We hope you enjoy watching this as much as we enjoyed working on it.
